Brought to life by design team, Jamie Schachtel and Danielle Yucht of Jamie Schachtel Design Group, COUEF was born to fulfill a need for clients seeking form and function in furniture within the luxury interior design sector.
Originating as custom pieces developed to fit the different spaces and styles of their interior design clients, the word about COUEF spread quickly. Designers within the trade and homeowners alike were seeking out the lightweight, yet durable pieces. Jamie and Danielle soon realized that the uses—and the demand—for COUEF were endless. “We were designing COUEFs for our clients to fit different spaces and styles,” Schachtel says. “The traction we gained right from the beginning us inspired us to move forward with the line.”
With Schachtel’s retail background and Yucht’s design experience, COUEF has become a name all its own. Now, COUEF garners attention within the international design community as one of the most forward thinking furniture lines to emerge in decades.
